Jon Peragine

Jon Peragine is General Manager for the Union Club Bar & Grill. Jon has been with the Union Club since November of 2016 after managerial stints at the Outback Steakhouse and Eagles Lodge in
Missoula. Upon taking the position, Jon’s goal was to make the club a 7-figure
enterprise. Along the way he has overseen upgrades to the establishment,
while keeping its funky retro vibe.

With all of the new hotels, the east side of Higgins is becoming the hotspot
in town and the Union Club Bar & Grill is happy to accommodate.

Jon hails originally from New York, as evidenced by his accent, but has
been a proud Missoulian for 30 years.

A Monument to Fair Labor

In 1896, copper magnate Marcus Daly donated land downtown and the original Union Hall was constructed. That building housed Missoula’s only theater and hosted the town’s 1896 Democratic Convention. The original building burned in 1911, and the present temple opened in 1917.

We come here for the fried cheese sticks. Simply amazing. Also this place has live music and fun parties all the time. Only negative is the bathrooms, they are uh, interesting. But overall a wonderful place!

This place pours a strong drink, but still makes them good. Checked out karaoke night and had a blast. Wasn’t sure what to expect but will definitely come back for more next time we’re in town!

Been in The Union Club quite a few times, over the years. I’ve had many experiences with a lot of the employees (Bartenders) there. I just have to throw this out there & “Holla to Skyy!” She’s honestly hands down the Best Employee, Bartender at The Union Club!

Nice Litt Bar, games and fare. I’m at attention to where the bathrooms are! Nice bartender that served all your needs. Stage present but no one was here this evening performing. Nice little local haunt.

Great Missoula bar. Food in back is great burgers, fries, etc. Good times. A little short staffed in the bar but that’s the sign of the times it seems.

Fun times. Good food. With good friends. The cheese steak is better at The Badlander, “Whiz Kid” kitchen has the best Philly cheese in missoula. Imo . Please feel free to comment. I love a great cheese steak sandwich.

Best club sammich in town. Goes excellent with the sweet potato fries. Hosts great events and a decent place to meet different locals. May be the last true “local bar” that doesn’t feel like it’s full of tourists. If thou art a tourist, you may want to avoid this place as it has nothing for you, unless you’re looking for the best club sammich in town.

If the trendy places in town are getting tiresome – not to mention very expensive – try the Union Club Bar and Grill. This place is genuine. You can get a great, old-fashioned hamburger here that will not fail to please. My burger came with a hearty slice of tomato, lots of pickles, onions, and lettuce – all super fresh. The fries are fresh cut daily in-house, a real rarity these days. Fries are served with a side of ranch dressing, so be sure to ask for mayo to mix up your own fry sauce if that’s your thing (I can’t eat fries without it!). We went in at 5 p.m. for an early supper, and things were pretty quiet at that hour. The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back working class, which suits me fine. I am a proud union member so happy to support a local union-owned business.

Great Lunch for a good price. We were surprised at just how good the food was given the atmosphere. We were happily surprised. The Chicken fingers were the best I’ve had in a while.

My co workers and I come here every so often. The drinks and service is good. And we love to just hang out and chat. There are usually a bit of people there but it feels comfortable. I don’t really feel as comfortable in the bathrooms because the doors don’t close very well. Otherwise it’s a cool place to be.

Two $1 pool tables, kareoke, bar food and decent drinks. A nice place for a good time with friends, or a great place to meet new people.
